Paxil & paxil side effects

Paxil withdrawl. Overed via the web others seem to be having similar problems when they stop taking Paxil. I went back to the doctor and she suggested I go back on to 10 mg for a few days, then cut back. But I'm torn. Am I just postponing the inevitable? Like am I going to have to go through this eventually anyway? Am I through the worst, and would I be stupid to go back on now? Do I look as crazy as I sometimes feel? Like, I have to teach a class for 4 days next week -- am I going to look like a bozo??? Has anyone else had these electrical twinges? How long did they last? Were you able to keep working and retain your credibility?Chris07 04 2000C17 .I am trying to come off of Paxil and am living in hell right now, I have every symptom mentioned, ANY advice on how to ease the discomfort. My children dont understand, and my husband things I am more of nut than I was when I was originally put on paxil. Paxil withdrawl

Ust saw the 20 20 segment on Paxil withdrawl. I am wondering if anyone else has experienced emotional outbursts while ON Paxil? I am fine most of the time but have bursts of anger and some mild paranoia that I most definitely did not have before going on the medication.Kristi10 08 2000C19 .I have been on the withdrawl train from clonapin, wich sucked and now Paxil. The Psyciatrist and MD told me that neither drug had any withdrawl symptoms. As an RN I have learned that Doc's are not well trained in the real effects of this drug. The info they get is from the drug companies. I have been having a terrible time with coming off Paxil, nausea, drunk feeling, dizziness and difficulty thinking. I have sought out the help of an acupuncturist. The treatments seem to help. My advice to anyone going through withdrawl is to seek out aternative medicine practioner. They know the effects of medications. They actually listen and believe thier patients. Thread closed to new comments Addiction Forum Ad paxil withdrawl
