"I think it was the energy in the first couple of years that just propelled us," he begins. "We only pressed a few copies of the first record and then just sent them out to record shops around the country. And then trusted the shops to send us back a cheque." "At the time everyone was setting up record shops, but no one was really making music or dj–ing or setting up a record label like we were, so I think we really got the benefit of that," he adds.
